I have personally handled fabric that looked lovely in photos but felt rough or thin once it arrived at the workshop.
Before you place an order, ask the boutique what fabric the piece is made of. Is it pure cotton, a rayon blend, linen, or something synthetic mixed in for stretch. A good boutique will tell you honestly, even if the fabric is a blend, rather than dressing it up with fancy words. None of these is wrong by itself, but you should know which one you are agreeing to before you pay, not after.
